Cleansers
The world of Cleansers is vast and varied. Some are targeted for oily skin, others for dry skin, some for acne, some for sensitive skin and so on. Some cleansers are gentle and others are more vigorous for deep cleaning pores. And, of course some are scrubs for the face or for just the lips, the body, or feet. Our goal is simplify this massive category as much as possible while still attending to various needs. Different Cleansers will be presented as they are developed and pass testing, so check back!
01
Foaming Oil Face Cleanser

This is a unique type of facial cleanser (also fine to use as a body wash) that starts out as an oil. Gently spread the oil all over your face, but be careful to avoid your eyes. You can allow it to sit on your face for a few minutes, hop in the shower and lather it up with damp hands, then rinse it off, or simply work into a lather and rinse off at the sink. Follow up with Toner, Serums, and Moisturizer.

Fractionated coconut oil, Grapeseed oil, Sunflower oil and Vitamin E combine to form a powerful hydrating and moisturizing force for your skin, yet are non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) and have even been shown to aid in the fight against acne.
These amazing oils are combined with a gentle, but powerful cleansing agent known as Lumorol K5229.

Clay balm to milk cleanser
Kaolin Clay is a very mild exfoliant that absorbs excess oil and reduces the appearance of pores. It's an acne fighter that is also gentle to dry and sensitive skin and works with other skin care regimes including niacinamide to brighten the skin. Fractionated coconut oil and Castor oil are joined in this balm by the silky feel of BTMS-50 and Cetyl Alcohol. This clay balm is rounded out with skin loving Vitamin E.

Use this as a clay mask by spreading a thin layer all over your face. You can either allow it to sit for a few minutes or lather it up and rinse it off right away. I like to let it sit on my skin for a couple minutes first. Then I jump in the shower, lather it up and rinse away.
Follow up with Toner, Serums, and Moisturizer.
I use this once or twice per week.

Note: Without a specific "drug" rating and registration with the FDA, a cosmetic cannot label it's product in certain ways. For instance, we can't claim that this moisturizer treats acne or itchy spots. We can only state things such as it moisturizes and hydrates the skin.

Research of the ingredients is up to the individual.

Could you make these products yourself? Certainly, Please visit TaraLee on Youtube. She has countless hours of excellent and informative videos about formulating your own cosmetics.
Then there's Humblebee and Me. Marie is also an amazing formulator and teacher.

Please be a discerning researcher when looking for a cosmetic formulator teacher! There are tons of misinformed people throwing up videos on YouTube. Often they are misleading about "all natural" and "organic" creations. They over simplify the process and provide misinformation. You can't go wrong with Tara and Marie.
