Our Basic Formula

Water and Glycerin

Glycerin helps hydrate the outer layer of skin, improve skin barrier function, accelerate wound-healing processes, relieve dry skin, and may help with psoriasis.

Extracts

Willow bark extract: a source of natural salicylic acid-like ingredients, enhances skin cell turnover by promoting exfoliation, resulting in a general improvement in the appearance of the skin and a smoothing effect with accompanying reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Also known for its antimicrobial properties, it can be useful as a remedy for problem skin conditions.

White tea extract: From the same leaves as green tea but is less processed, thus retains more of the plant's natural properties, protects from damage, reduces oxidative stress to the skin, anti-aging combats negative results from matrix metalloproteinases.

Conditioners & Other Agents

Propanediol: is a natural, green, propylene glycol alternative, used as a humectant, hair and skin conditioner, preservative booster, and solvent with a light, non-sticky, slightly dry skin feel.

BTMS-50: resist wash off, leaving a soft, powdery feel on the skin and is extremely mild.

Cetyl Alcohol: aids in product absorption and retention in the epidermis where it lubricates and softens the skin.

Both Sunflower oil and Grapeseed oil provide amazing benefits for the skin. Vitamins

Panthenol: Pro-Vitamin B5,
the human body readily absorbs DL-Panthenol through the skin and it rapidly converts D-Panthenol to Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), a natural constituent of healthy hair and a substance present in all living cells. It improves hydration, reduces water loss, maintains skin elasticity and softness, aids in wound healing
mitigates itching and has an anti-inflammatory effect. When used in formulations over the course of three to four weeks, it has the potential to improve the appearance of the skin, including dryness, roughness, scaling, pruritus and erythema.

Vitamin E: guards against oxidation and extends your product's shelf life naturally.

Preservative

Liquid Germall Plus is a broad spectrum preservative that prevents mold and bacteria from forming in aqueous formulations.

Our face moisturizer is suitable for all skin types, but was purposefully designed for acne prone skin. It's light, smooth, and soothing. Each of the raw ingredients was chosen based on its benefits to the skin and to the formula. You can read more about the benefits of ingredients below and please research them for yourself as well.
